I know that I don’t deserve it, but through His grace, by dying on the cross for my sins, He has made me His child. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that some day, I will stand before my Savior and my God. He will lovingly spread His arms and welcome me home, forever to be with Him in His Heaven. I will be singing in a choir of heavenly voices that cannot even be imagined; singing praises to the Lamb forever and ever! What a day that will be!
There have been ups and downs as I strive to live a life pleasing to God. I am still a sinner. I’ve been saved by grace, but I still have a sin nature. However, with the Holy Spirit living within me, I now have the ability to choose to obey God and do right.
I strive daily to keep God in the center of my life, but I’m still a work in progress. I look at trials as the way God draws me closer to Him. I can truly say that He’s been faithful even though I don’t deserve it. I can rest in the truth that He loves me and knows what is best for me.
This is my story, but God has provided the same way for you, too. One day you, too, can enter into that heavenly home to be with Him forever. Acknowledge Christ as God, confess your sins to Him, and ask Him to come into your life to be your Lord and Savior. If you mean what you pray, He will save you and make you His child, and you will have the peace that comes from knowing you are right with God.
May God Richly bless you and keep you in his loving care.
In Christ,
Beth Mexin
